Taylor make lovely instruments but the sound can be a bit too "bright" for some tastes including my own. They are great as solo guitars but if you want to accompany your own singing you may prefer the more mellow sound of the Seagull. As I'm happy with my Martin I have no axe to grind here either way. I just listen to what others play and this is my humble opinion.
