I don't know the song personally, but there was a song c. 1965 by Ivan´s Meads (apparently an obscure group from Manchester in the UK) called Sins Of A Family (Fall On The Daugher) . It can be heard on this site if you want to check it out to see if it is the same song you are looking for. The sound is from the old Radio Caroline which in itself is interesting.
