my late father StewartRoss wrote a 'tartan' christmas song, recorded by the tartan lads in 1977, it sold 10,000 copies within a few weeks. Unfortunately 'mull of kintyre' - the ultimate scottish christmas hit came out and killed it stone dead, though it still gets airplay. The Christmas Dream was the name of my father's song on REL records. It is a copyright work and not for internet circulation, but I can send you a copy if you write to me (I am using a library computer 1 Ashton Road Raigmore Estate Inverness Scotland IV2 3UE
