I once had a Gibson J-50, the model with the adjustable bridge, all you needed was a screwdriver to crank it up or down. Got for $50 from a highschool/college singing buddy. Actually I "took care of it" form him during his stint in the AirForce in VietNam. He decided he didn't need it when he got back, although he kept his Epiphone 12-string. A few years later my apartment was burglarized with the thief taking the Gibson, my stereo receiver and my laundry basket. My favorite memory of the Gibson is that I got about $600 insurance payment for it and used it to buy a Guild (see Guild thread).
