Hi, This song will never make anyone's top ten, but I've always thought the Pogues' Thousands Are Sailing is a must for St Patrick's Day. It may also be the finest emigration song written in quite a few years. The line "Where'r we go we celebrate the land that made us refugees..." gives me chills. We tried to play it one year on St Patrick's Day and the noise and the drone in the pub was such that only "Whiskey in the Jar" could register with anyone. Rich
