A few days ago, Arafat finally ordered a stop to the terrorism and other violence against Israel. If Arafat's order is obeyed, why did he not give the order many months ago. Think of all of Israeli victims of terrorism and all of the Palestinian victims of Israeli retalitation whose lives could have been saved and the peace process that could have progressed had Arafat shown such leadership. If the order is not obeyed by the Palestinians, then yes, he is irrelevant. Jerry
