That then, is fair enough..I now see where youre coming from. However, I must say that though I do suppost Israels right to defend itself, & condemn attacks against her at least as strongly as I do her actions, the perception of many, INCLUDING myself, is that emploting a 21st century military agaonst a civilian-based terrorist organisation is VERY heavy-handed. As someone with more than a passing interest in the Irish question, I suggest that situation there would not be at the stage it is now if the Brits had been seen to use a similar degree of firepower against the Republicans.
