Yes the song was based on the address given by Gerrard Hoffnung. Pat Cooksey wrote the song specifically for one of Dubliners whose name escapes me at the moment. The first performance was to be at a folk club in Birmingham but the first step on the moon meant that no one turned up. I heard just recently that Pat Cooksey has joined up with the Dubliners for a couple of gigs on their current German tour.
