The "Tennessee Blues" that you're referring to was written by Bobby Charles and bears no resemblance to the Bill Monroe song. As well as Tracy Nelson, there are also recorded versions by Bobby Charles and Geoff Muldaur. Martin Grosswendt used to do a great live version, but it's not on the one record of his that I've ever seen. Jerry
