Yet English is possibly the most developed language in the world today as it's moved on from its syntactic roots to a much more analytic form, whereas most if not all of the other languages it's "borrowed" from have not developed as far and still have all the things that make us hate learning other languages so much like cases and declensions and shit like that... So you can pride yourself in saying that if you speak English then you're kind of a linguistic pioneer of a sort! You're helping to forge the path to show the others the way to analytic language! :) xxx
