Absolutely brilliant weekend!!!!!!!1 Friday night in the Masons arms was well organized in advance, with the seating and tables arranged so that we were all in the same group.A great sing-around with over 20 of us in attendance.Music ranged from Trad' 'finger-in-the-ear stuff'to blues & good 'ole rock & roll, something for everyone and everyone got a chance to play or sing. Carried on into the wee small hours at one of the guest houses(ask Charlie about the weetabix!) The caravans were not needed as there weren't any hamsters attending and local B&B's had been arranged in advance for everybody. On saturday afternoon there was an impromptu session in the Hill Inn. This was followed in the evening with a full blown session at the Ex-Servicemens Club where we were made very welcome. The numbers were swelled by many of the locals who had been at the Mason"s the previous night. We've been invited back by the club for next year as the locals enjoyed it so much. Considering the short notice given to arrange it all, a big thank you to Charlie & Co.for putting it all together and a special mention must go to Keith for doing a great job of 'M.C'ing the nights, ensured everyone got their turn to play. Next year promises to be even better (if possible) as people who weren't able to make this time because of the short notice, are definites for next.
