Summer of 95 I had the good fortune to be 'over there' for a two-week holiday. I was hitching to the folk festival in Feakle (yes, pron. 'fecal') and passed by a little sign post pointing up a road to the left, indicating 'Spancil Hill, 5 km'. I had intended to hire a bike and go back there but didn't. (rode the Burren instead). Anyway, Feakle does have a great little festival there in mid-August, despite the fact that it's a little s**t of a town! (No offense intended).
