I thought Folk music was quite simply that..music which belonged to nobody. It must have originated somewhere I agree but that does not mean the person/s intended to make money out of it from recordings etc. as the means did not exist. So when are people who write Folk music etc. going to stop carping on about copyrights etc. and allow it to the permiate! naturally throughout their community. Just like the good old Footie songs. Am I taking through my hat or what! Joe
