Here's a version of the tune. I have some of Rod's own transcriptions (or one's people did for him - from when I was playing guitar for the CDs) but this is not among them, so this is from my memory.

(I'm not sure what's happening with Dave Webber and Anni Fentiman's book of Rod's songs. Transcriptions were being made from various recordings of Rod singing and at Rod's memorial day Dave did mention to me that this was going slowly and he might get me to do some of them. However, since then I've heard nothing about it, and I forgot to ask about progress when I talked to them a week ago - they're also a bit busy with house moving at the moment).

LONDON RIVER (Rod Shearman)

The/ first time I laid/ eyes up-on her
I'll/ tell you the truth up-/on my hon-our:/
Sights and sounds to set your/ heart a-qui-ver,
I/ found them there on the/ Lon-don Ri-ver.//

Lon-don Ri-ver, oh the/ Lon-don Ri-ver,/
All the love I've/ got I give her./
Lon-don Ri-ver, oh the/ Lon-don Ri-ver,/
That's the ri-ver for/ me!//
