I have just found the `face` after searching for it, after being presented with the poem word for word which was written on some very ancient paper. However the footnote reads "This monologue was taken from a true story. It really happened in Montreal, and there is still the picture of a woman on the barroom floor of one of Montreal’s principal bars." This was about 1940. Joe
