Guy at hampshire record office says that you can expect three years, maybe more if you store in dry conditions, cooler the better. Watch out for paper cases. Acid in the paper eats the discs. Removable HD isn't much better. Not really designed for archiving. Best bet is to load up any important CDRs once a year and burn new copies. EJ
