DonMeixner.. In the Godzilla 1980 movie,Raymond Burr played - if that's the word I'm looking for - the same reporter called back from a well-earned retirement and invited to advise the US government and military about the big lizard. Presumably nobody else in the US had seen it in all the sequels since the first film. Not that I'm complaining... much. I mean, for sheer pointlessness dressed up as deep profound and meaningful while also destroying Tokyo for the umpteenth time, try Godzilla versus Biollante. You will never feel the same about roses again. Hooo boy. And the only reason I know anything at all about this epic is that I have a son who insists on watching the video again and again while (he says) practicing his Japanese.
