As indicated by Kat and according to my search engine (Google) and the rather battered old dictionary we have where I work (Webster's), the proper spelling of the botanical name for baby's breath is Gypsophila (minus the last "i"). I think Bert and Amos are right...Gypsophilia sounds either illegal or unhealthy. I've heard that the symptoms include a desire to wear brightly colored clothing, dance and sing around campfires, and travel from place to place making music. Hmmm... sounds like most of the folkies I know. It must be a social disease.
