Mebbe one day I'll reset that damn cookie... I PLAY about 2 hours a day, sometimes more, sometimes less. When I play, sometimes I will stop to PRACTICE a part or phrase than needs fine-tuning. About 3 times a week, I LEARN a new tune to add to the list of tunes to PLAY with parts to PRACTICE. When I get bored with that, I will DRILL on arpeggios and the Aonzo scales, or mebbe just regular scale variations, but since they are not tunes, there is no need to PRACTICE them, just DRILL. All different aspects, imho.
