Great song. Written by Andy May and done by Rick Lee of Natick Massachusetts on his Waterbug CD "There's Talk About A Fence". Bear is about the experience of living--of challenge and the choice to face that challenge honestly. Andy said he first recorded it in 1970. I will copy the lyrics down and if you don't have it by morning I'll send them to you.
