Somewhere recently I heard - just once on a radio station I don't usually listen to... they play that Country stuff... a great song by an aussie singer called (I think) Crocodile Roll. (the song, not the singer) Very dry laconic style, with singer half talking about camping and his dog at the side of the creek. Suddenly a croc comes up and GRAB... "..and then it's crocodile roll.." Next verse (if I remember right.. it's the wife, then the singer.. suddenly stop. Brilliantly dry stuff. Must try and find out more, but trouble is, it might be - shock horror - in the C&W section in the record store.
