Lol, I almost forgot, another thing you can try is a spray repellent (after you get rid of the odor of course, if you're able to, by whatever means you choose).
We found out quite by accident that a product called "Lassie" (indoor/outdoor repellent)works wonders, and there are other similar products that all work the same way; anyway, we found out that the cats loathe this stuff (initially you probably won't like it either) the good thing is though, that *you* won't be able to smell it for long, but the cats will, but mind you, if a cat or dog is determined enough, they'll *do their business* anywhere, but . . . for the most part, it works great, true they may just find another spot, but one has to start somewhere.
