Guess this works out to "What songs/records" do you like? So I'll say, since this is a mainly folk site, that two records that are in the folk style and that I've always loved are:

"Today" "A World of Our Own"

- both, I think, by The New Christy Minstrels. And both models of good melody-writing.

Anyone know who wrote them?
