Thanks, Joe. Interesting reading in there about the town itself as well as the lyrics. My questions about Dillon Bustin and about how the song came to be are still open, folkies (of course, the thread is only five minutes old, and I already got an answer that pointed me to some great information -- at the speed of the 'cat). I just remembered that Jessica said the song was about rafts that were rowed for the upstream trip, and then floated down for the return. Mark
