Hey, congratulations Rick and everyone right there with you proving that winners DO quit. I'm actually just a few days behind you - I quit on June 30th and am damn proud of it. I have a couple of excellent resources for you and anyopne else who's still smoking or just quit.

I used this online class from American Lung Association to quit...has a message board just like this with some great folks on it, and a lot of information and plans to prepare you for those moments when the thought occurs to you...and I know they still do, that will take longer. Just go to LungUSA and look for "Freedom From Smoking". It's designed for people to start using it before they quit, but don't let that put you off...it's worth going even just for the boards.

Then there's Why Quit? , which is a compendium of articles and information that are incredibly interesting and just FULL of facts about why people smoke, why they relapse, how to learn to live w/o nicotine, and so on.

In other words, you don't have to just grit your teeth and endure. If it weren't for these two resources, I don't think I would have been successful this time. It's been 15 years for me, but I'll never go back.

Good luck!
