There's a session close to me that is fortunate enough to have an exemplary leader. This woman is a sensitive hostess, great presence w/o any inflated ego, & talented musician, as is her more low-key husband. They don't seem to invite anyone w/o sensitivity - everyone i've met there has been someone i am happy to know. A circle arrangement is used, & despite the high level of musicianship, reticence abounds. The music is pop,folk,blues. Yeah, i'm lucky.
