Wow !! Am I glad someone mentioned Allan Damron. I was holding off because several weeks ago, someone "hinted" I was too partial to Texas musicians and music. Now that someone else has cracked the door, I say if you haven't heard Damron try his web site (I'll post it next thread) and buy a CD (or two or three). Allan is local here, but travels all over and we never miss him when he's within 30 miles. Talk about "gasmic" give an ear to Corey Snow or Tears of the Lakota. Even when he covers other material, he's terrific ! Try Heart of the Appaloosa (Fred Small). Alan is truly a Texas treasure that we rednecks will gladly share with y'all !
