Dear Jennifer, If I understand you correctly you would like to display your navel piercing while playing? My solution would be to play your guitar behind your head in the fashion of Mr Hendrix, thereby permitting one or many piercings to be displayed without obstruction. This will also avoid the scratchy parts of the piercing decoration damaging rare and valuable tropical hardwoods on the back of the guitar. Yours sincerely, Dr. Guitar
