Thanks, John, for answering my inquiry concerning 'just' tempered scales. I thought that might be what everyone was discussing but I wasn't positive. I have encountered guitars with fret boards that slide out from under the strings and can be replaced with fret boards that are fretted for 'just' tempered scales for specific keys. A lot of work for minimal gain? Just a thought.... Mike
