Well, it happened last Saturday night--again! One of the guys in the band said something funny on the spur of the moment, and I forgot the fiddle intro to a Charlie Poole song we've been performing for years, Good-bye Miss Liza Jane. Geez, I hate that when it happens. And to make matters worse, a brand new number in our repertoire, never before performed in public, went off without a hitch. No flubs, no forgetting the words, darn near perfect. AAARRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH! Jim
