In younger, more lunatic days I played with a trio that would start off "The Streets of London" with a reference to Pachebel's Canon in D (yes, the world-famous music to eat brunch by). Try it! You have to change the penultimate chord (I think that's the right one) but it can be surprisingly effective as a segue. Michael
