As my cats are happy to know, what we call cat gut is accually sheep gut. I don't know why the name. My cat is anouther fraidy cat. She runs away at the sound of the door opening, and if a stranger comes to visit we won't see her for a couple days. She runs to greet me every morning when I come upstairs (I sleep in the basement), and demands to be petted. Don't try to pick her up, she hates it. For that matter I can't get withing 6 inches of her, other then the hand thats pets her.
