Where would Brit-comedy be without the Goons? There would be no Monty Python for instance!I grew up addicted to the radio series(must have heard every one!) and every now and then submerge myself(via their tapes of the orig. radio transmissions)) in the wierd and wacky universe created by the surreal genius Sellers, Milligan and Secombe. george martin(yes that George martin!) later produced Peter Sellers albums and said that it helped prepare him for his later work with the Fab 4. The studio word 'Flange' comes from theGoon's 'Fred Flange'. The Goons are on BBC tapes and are a must for your collection.
