" Maybe this might help in the search. "

Well Done, MacGrath!!!. I knew it was some kind of Midnight Concert-type program. I completely got wrong whom was interviewing whom ,but then Kieth was the more articulate and i only saw it once.
But, again ,Well Done MacGrath. By tracking down the source ,and thus "owner" of the master archive tapes I'll set to work finding out ,and lobbying for ,this Mr. Saltz to seriously think about putting together a DVD of choice shows from his archive.
I could see MTV showing it as "archive footage" considering the success fo its original shows like "Jackas" they're not about airing anything.

Anyway ,I well remember the celebrated release on video of a single episode of the UK program "Rock & Roll Circus" w/ The Rolling Stones as the stars backed up with performances of the then brand new Jethro Tull ,then The Who ,and then Jagger doing a perforamcne of sympathy for the devil where at the end he strips off his shirt to reveal a rather childishly sketched fake tatoo of a devil on his Bosnia-style ribcaged chest. It wasonly shown once and then, on its 20th anniversary of airing it was released as a video.
Upshot is that if there's interest ,there's definite hope.
Thanks again MacGrath. Your popst is another reason why I *love* the internet's collective mind. ;-)
