Everyone (hopefully) knows about the imperial gallon and the American gallon, but have any of you ever heard of the metric gallon? Apparently, solvents were sold in chemical catalogues using this strange measurement in the early eighties in Canada. So, just exactly what quantity of liquid is in a metric gallon?
