The string length on my Tenor Mandola is 404mm. You can use the ratio of, I think, 1/17.835 to calculate the position of the frets. I set it up on a spread sheet to calculate it automatically for any string length. Some greater expert than I am is bound to correct me if the ratio is wrong. Mal
