When I added a second bathroom to my house in a new upstairs dormer we wanted a shower only. There was not enough room for both, I tried. The plumber convinced me to go with a tub/shower because it is a better resale value. I think that was a good call, my wife, daughter and I like to take a bath now and then. I love them for sore muscles after a long day of yardwork or working in the garage and standing for hours on a concrete floor.

That reminds me, I have to get a new water saving shower head. When the last one split and leaked I stole the one from the downstairs shower, which no one uses because the tub and tile needs work. A 'to do list' that I don't want to do. And now feel guilty about, go figure.

My Wife and children take much to long in the shower!
