Okay, okay, you beat it out of me. I turned 50 last year, and it wasn't so bad, apart from the fact that I can't hardly believe it myself. I mean, I look in the mirror and don't see someone who looks like what I think 50 looks like. I still feel frisky as a colt, and have a hard time thinking I'm out of my 20s, let alone 51. My 50th birthday was relatively tame -- no big "hey, you're over the hill" blowouts or the like. But I did go to see the "Down From the Mountain" tour on my big milestone day, so there! As for the 50s being a good decade, well, I sure hope so, but I kinda lean toward Jerry's notion that the 60s are even better. By then I plan to have a full career behind me, and one great big horizon spread out before me and my sailboat. Happy Birthday, matey! Pooby
