They aren't gung-ho, or martyrs. alot of people were really pissed off when they felt that Rachel's death was hijacked into a Shaheed (Palestinian martyr) situation. Quite a lot of the people going out there are Jewish, which is why they feel so strongly about it. From the perspective of internationals going out there, its really hard to have a more "organized" movement without more people. non-violent action is really hard without numbers.
