LH: As a corollary to your outrage about backwards baseball caps, I get the same sensation as a fingernail on the chalkboard when I see folks wearing a hat (baseball or otherwise) in any orientation at the dinner table or in a restaurant. I don't care if it IS Mickey D's place, you don't wear a hat when you eat indoors! My Daddy always said that a gentleman takes his hat off in the house. This was, apparently, a common practice in his generation. I am told that Tom Landry (late of the Dallas Cowboys) nearly required a Papal dispensation to alleviate his discomfort at wearing his favorite sideline chappeau inside Texas Stadium.
