I've recently become interested in songs from the 1600s, which are generally a bit too old to have entered the 'folk' repertiore. I'm especially interested in songs of the English civil war, such as 'The King Shall Enjoy His Own Again'. The ideal Cd for me would have authentic instruments, clear singing (I've got plently of purely instrumental music of the preiod) and the lyrics included! Any recommendations?
