Got to see Red Allen at Strawberry just before he died. He was with David Grisman and it was also the first time I had seen Grisman do a Bluegrass only set. Absolute dynamite stuff. They came off the Strawberry stage and directly into the studio to do the "Bluegrass Reunion" CD which Garcia sat in on. rr
