O! WHY DOTH MY CAT EAT CARNATIONS (Traditional) (Aire: "How Much is that Doggie in the Window?") Oh, why doth my cat eat carnations? Oh, why do she do stuff like that? I feed her the very best rations! Oh! what a perverse, stupid cat! I feed her on tuna and parsnips! She turns up her nose and walks by! But as soon as she smells them carnations, A fiendish gleam lights in her eye! One night as I lay on my pillow, One night as I lay on my bed, I dreamed she was eating carnations, Next morning the plants were all dead!
