Frankham Thanks - I should have made it clear that I meant live singers as opposed to recorded material. On the archive subject I,ve just ordered a couple of CDs from the Music Tradition, of trad singers/players from 50s/60s recordings. Expensive, but apparently worth it as there's a lot of background material. The BEST singer? Impossible to choose.
