Jon, in answer to PAL/NTSC, no, when you record the DVD you should have the option in the software to record in either format but I think most TV's will play both systems these days, I have some region 1 dvd's and they play on my telly ok. In the meantime I've encountered a problem with Nerovision express which is supposed to record onto DVD, but it hangs after half an hour of transcoding, so it looks like the above offer is a bit academic at the mo' cheers bill
