An interesting thing happened to me while reading this thread. I access the Mudcat (and the rest of the internet) via webtv. The msn servers contain firewalls, anti-spam programs, and anti-virus programs, so I have very little to worry about with the crap that is out there.

I don't have a regular cursor on my screen. When I hit a blue-clicky, my browser forms a yellow box around the link. When I hit return the box lines turn green and I go to the linked page. When I come back, the blue-clicky is now purple to show that I have accessed that link.

On Jeri's above link to Spybot the box was red.I have never seen this before. When I cicked on it I got a message that the http:// was missing from the url and therefore msntv was unable to access the website.

Could this be part of the new Mudcat programming, to let me know the link is unusable? Or maybe it is something new to msntv.

Will have to experiment with other websites.
