I like my 70's Takamine 12-string, though it's not quite as lovable as much as the '60's Guilds I've played. I don't think I'd invest in a neck reset for it (if it ever needs one), so I don't care too much how the neck's attached. I bought it used 2 years ago for $200 at 5th String in Sacramento. They even threw in a cheap cardboard case. Mark
