Picture of the ship and data on Irish famine relief by this sloop at: JAMESTOWN (A couple of nasty adv. to cancel out) She hoisted the American flag at Sitka upon the purchase of Alaska. She was destroyed by fire in 1913. The Macedonian also carried food to Ireland in March 1847.
