There was a book published about twenty years ago titled "A Song For Cricket" sorry I can not remember who the compiler was but the forward was by Tim Rice. It contained poems and songs about the game from village green heroics right up to Roy Harper's "Old Cricketer" which it stated was THE song for cricket.
