If a young lady tries to get into bed with me because she is scared of the foggy dew, I will ask her to sit quietly on my bedside chair till she has composed herself, and then to go home.
    If I get a chance to escape from a chaingang,I will do so quietly and surreptitiously,and not send my hammer to the captain accompanied by needlessly inflammatory messages.
